Where: Rome, Italy

The Borghese Gallery is hidden away in the Borghese Gardens. We had a fairly unique experience wandering around here with all the snow.
We had a vague idea which direction the museum was in, and I think wandering this park in search of it ended up being my favorite thing we did on our trip. The trees were completely weighted down with the heavy melting snow, and throughout the park, you could hear the crackling of the branches giving way and the falling of patches of snow.
This little dog was so freakin cute. He was so excited about this snowball. He kept trying to pick it up and carry it to his master, dropping it, then happily attempting to pick it up again.
Finally, we made it to the Borghese Gallery, but unfortunately, this was PSYCH number 2 of the day. It was ALSO closed because of the snow - this time, it made no sense. It's indoors!!
So the Borghese Gallery being closed was a bit of letdown, but the gardens leading up to it were incredible. Add it to the list of things to see when I come back and Rome is not covered in snow.

Roman statues scattered throughout the garden were pretty cool too.

This garden along the edge had some of the largest fruit I've ever seen.
