Notre Dame

What: Notre Dame, Paris, France
When: November 5th, 2011
Who: Dave

After our long walk, we finally found Notre Dame in all its gargoyle glory. Additional plus - first church we've visited in Europe that was free.

Inside, we found it much different from our previous experience in cathedrals and complete opposite of Canterbury. It was so dark! This was the view up the nave.

Ornate much?

A lot of beautiful stained glass throughout - the only light in the place!

After being herded about like a group of cattle (literally, free places = big crowds), we headed back outside. The gargoyles are the best part anyway.

This was the view from the south side. Dave directed these shots, so I give credit to him.
