Where: Boston, Massachusetts
When: September 25, 2010
With: Dave, Ashley, Krista, family
My cousin Krista was born and raised in the Boston area and ever since she was a little kid, the Fairmont Copley was her dream hotel. So when it came to planning her wedding as an adult, it was the only place in her mind to hold the reception. And lucky for me, I got to see what it was like at this beautiful hotel as normally, I don't have much to write about when it comes to hotels.

The hotel was built in 1912 and prides itself on providing a luxurious stay for its guests. While I didn't stay here for the evening of the wedding, Krista loves this place so much that we piled into a couple of rooms so that we could stay for her bachelorette party. The rooms were stunning and as comfortable as you would hope a hotel could be.
The lobby is pretty spectacular, with massive chandeliers and arched painted ceilings. It felt like a royal palace. The ballrooms were no less exquisite.
Though not so exquisite that we couldn't have a bit of fun. This is Ashley impersonating Buster Bluth from Arrested Development. A Milford man is neither seen nor heard.
A surprisingly fun part of the Fairmont is the resident dog they have, Carly. She is there to greet guests upon arrival and has her own appointment book in case a guest wishes to take her for a walk or run. How cute is that?
Otherwise, for us, the Copley served as a beautiful backdrop for a wedding and family photos.
With the pops (but not the Boston kind).
A beautiful hotel in Boston!
