In my last month in England, after Dave had officially repatriated to the US and I finally started to realize these amazing two years were coming to an end, my calendar freed up significantly. Or so I thought.
With all the LBS kids gone, it was time for some serious QT with my Brits. And Emma made sure to maximize and capitalize the free schedule, lovingly using the Book as her guide. That girl knows the way to my heart.
When I returned to work after our trip to Germany, I was happily greeted by 16 meeting invites from Emma. Weekend excursions, day trips, and after work activities. Nearly every day of my last month would be filled with fun activities. It was a lucky thing she was away in Paris one weekend or else I'm not sure when I would have found time to pack!
So while I'm thankful for everyone that came along on all those adventures, a particularly huge thank you to Emma for researching, planning and doing what you do best: kicking our butts into gear to do really fun things!
